--Reports which stated earlier this week that Brazilian middleweight Maiquel Falcao had suffered a heart attack were exaggerated according to the fighter, who posted on his Facebook page the following message (props to MMAJunkie for the translation):

"I wish to say that I've had some health problems caused by excessive training. This generated several rumors, but none of them is true. What actually happened was too much training, not enough rest."

Falcao is still expected to compete in the upcoming Bellator middleweight tournament.

--The UFC has added another fight to UFC 143, a welterweight contest between Amir Sadollah and Jorge Lopez. Winner of The Ultimate Fighter 7, Amir Sadollah recently saw a two-fight winning streak broken by MMA vet Duane Ludwig, who handed him a unanimous decision loss UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle this past August. The 31-year-old owns a record of 5-3. A product of the Wand Fight Team, Jorge "Lil' Monster" Lopez recently debuted in the UFC, taking on Justin Edwards this past September at UFC Fight Night: Shields vs. Ellenberger and losing a unanimous decision. Prior to that loss, Lopez was riding a ten-fight winning streak. UFC 143 is expected to take place this February at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

--The UFC is charging full steam ahead into their broadcasting deal with Fox networks, with the promotion announcing today that the Countdown to UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida broadcast will air on FUEL TV, as opposed to its usual home of SpikeTV. The hour-long preview show will air on December 7 at 7pm ET/PT and will replay on December 8 at 1am ET/PT, as well as on December 9 at 5pm ET/PT. UFC 140 takes place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on December 10.
