Josh Koscheck-Carlos Condit Official For UFC 143
By Dana Becker | November 21, 2011 | Comments
Former UFC welterweight contender Josh Koscheck will meet Carlos Condit at UFC 143, as the bout agreement was signed by "Kos" late Sunday night. Koscheck, who lost a decision to current UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre, posted a picture on his Twitter account of him signing the sheet.Condit was scheduled to face GSP earlier this year at UFC 137, but the champion was forced out due to a knee injury. "The Natural Born Killer" decided to wait on the sidelines for his title shot, but the UFC went with Nick Diaz next for St-Pierre, leaving Condit without an opponent.
Koscheck, who knocked out Matt Hughes in his last bout, stepped up and offered to take GSP's place the first time around, making him an obvious choice for Condit on February 4 when UFC 143 goes down.
Does Koscheck have what it takes to defeat Condit? Let us know in our "Comments" section below.
