First Two Fights For UFC On FX Debut Announced

UFC officials have announced two bouts for the debut on FX in 2012, as Pat Barry will meet Christian Morecraft, and Duane Ludwig takes on Josh Neer. The card is rumored to be scheduled for January 20, but a date has not been confirmed.FX is set to televise six events in 2012 as part of the UFC-FOX Network deal reached earlier this year. The first UFC on FOX telecast took place this past weekend, featuring Junior dos Santos winning the UFC heavyweight title by knockout over Cain Velasquez.
Barry (6-4) has dropped his last two fights, falling to Cheick Kongo and Stefan Struve. Morecraft (7-2) is 1-1 in his last two bouts.
Neer (32-10-1) returned to the UFC with a victory over Keith Wisniewski, while Ludwig (22-11) stopped Amir Sadollah in his last fight.
