By Dana Becker | November 07, 2011
Josh Koscheck has confirmed via his Twitter account that he has accepted a fight with Carlos Condit for UFC 143 in February. Condit accepted the fight this past weekend according to Dana White at the UFC 138 post-fight press conference."Yep, when I talk....I get....Feb 4th weekend Vegas:) I will be fighting!!!!!!!! Thx you DW," Koscheck wrote.
"Kos" offered to face Condit at UFC 137 after UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre was forced out of a planned title fight. GSP will now face Nick Diaz at UFC 143, with Koscheck-Condit set to possibly serve as the co-main event for the pay-per-view show.
Koscheck is 4-1 in his last five fights, including a knockout victory over Matt Hughes in September at UFC 135. Condit has won his last four since a split decision loss to Martin Kampmann in 2009.
