Dana White Says Paul Daley Could Be Welcomed Back Into The UFC

Paul Daley could win his way back into the UFC despite Dana White's previous statements saying the British slugger would never compete inside the Octagon again. Daley was released from the UFC after delivering a punch to Josh Koscheck well after the bell rang in their UFC 113 meeting.

Daley has since competed for both Strikeforce and BAMMA, going a combined 6-2. White, while a the post-fight press conference in England for UFC 138: Leben vs. Munoz Saturday night, added a brief comment on talks between Showtime and Strikeforce, which he took over in recent weeks.

"The Strikeforce-Showtime deal isn't done yet. We'll see what happens with that. I just have a hard time with what Daley did," White said. "It's not like Daley's been so friendly since that happened, either. Plus, he hasn't won. The guy's got to win some fights."

Daley, who said he is done competing in 2011, has lost to Tyron Woodley and Nick Diaz. His wins have come over Luigi Fioravanti, Jordan Radev, Yuya Shirai, Scott Smith, Jorge Masvidal and Daniel Acacio.
