Quick Shots: Anderson Silva Is MMA's Twitter King, Hector Lombard Wins Again --USA Today compiled a list of fighters from both the UFC and Strikeforce to see who finished the first quarter as the new Twitter king of MMA. Zuffa announced that a bonus will be paid for fighters who lead Twitter in terms of followers and biggest percentage gain among followers. According to USA Today, Anderson Silva led the field with more than 621,000 followers, finishing well ahead of George St-Pierre. Zuffa has not announced the results of the challenge, but the data was obtained directly from Twitter numbers and the Twitter Counter site. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira had the biggest climb in followers, going from 45,357 to roughly 182,000 since June 1, when the Twitter program started.

--Reigning Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard improved to 23-0-1 in his last 24 fights after defeating Jesse Taylor Saturday night at Australian Fighting Championship 2.
