The following is from our live coverage of UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami. To access our full coverage, click here.Okami looks very relaxed on his way to the Octagon, to that one song from the Kill Bill soundtrack. Not the Nancy Sinatra track, the other one. You know it. Silva enters to the usual DMX remix of "Ain't No Sunshine," looking as loose as ever. His hat, like Big Nog's, gets picked off on his way down. Herb Dean will oversee this UFC middleweight championship bout.
No glove touch when Dean brings them to the center.
Round 1: Okami takes the center and Silva moves around the outside. Silva with an inside leg kick first. He easily moves aside from a straight combo by Okami. Silva tries to grab the clinch, Okami peppers with uppercuts and they break. Silva throwing some hard right hands. Okami closes the distance and the clinch against the fence. Silva looking to grab the plum. Okami pressing him into the cage, Silva slipping in some knees and elbows. They action has slowed, with neither man really working to advance their position from the clinch. Okami drops levels after eating a hard knee to the body, but Silva avoids the takedown. Okami just leaning on Silva here. They break. Silva now working his hands from the outside, tagging Okami. Silva with a leg kick. He lands a slick right uppercut and wobbles Okami at the bell with a head kick.

Round 2: Silva avoids a one-two and starts getting intense, clearly looking to put some damage on Okami. He sits Okami down with a right jab. He lets him back up, showing him no respect. He tags him with another hard right hand. Silva toying with Okami now. He drops Okami again and starts in with ground shots this time, landing knees to the body, elbows and battering him with punches until Herb Dean has to call it.
Anderson Silva defeated Yushin Okami via TKO (strikes) at 2:04 of round 2
Just wow. Silva looked like he barely tried, Okami hasn't been finished (other than when he dropped him with an illegal up-kick the first time around) with strikes since 2003.
