Quick Shots: Barnett - Pro Wrestling, Rich Franklin Note, UFC Rio & Strikeforce Card Changes -- Jen Wenk, who represents "Suga" Rashad Evans, announced this week that her firm, StarPR Las Vegas, has signed a deal with Rich "Ace" Franklin to serve as his public relations representative and counsel. StarPR Las Vegas will provide public and media relations services for Franklin to further expand his presence in the sports industry, while developing media strategies to support his future endeavors and professional pursuits. "I have worked with Jen Wenk since 2005, and I know her track record and what she accomplished for the UFC through public relations," said Franklin. "I am excited to have Jen on my team, and I look forward to a long and successful relationship with her and StarPR Las Vegas."

-- Tatame is reporting that Mackens Semerzier is out of his scheduled fight with Yuri Alcantara at UFC Rio, and Canadian prospect Antonio "Pato" Carvalho will take his place. The featherweight contest marks the UFC debuts for both Alcantara and Carvalho.

-- MMAJunkie.com is reporting that injuries have forced the cancellation of the Danillo Villefort vs. Antwain Britt main-card bout at Strikeforce Challengers: Fodor vs. Terry on June 24. The site also reports that Yuri Villefort has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight with Travis Bush on the preliminary card, and Ryan LaFlare will take his place.
