'The Ultimate Fighter 11' Finale Probable For June 19th

MMAJunkie.com is reporting that The Ultimate Fighting Championship has submitted a formal request to the Nevada State Athletic Commission to hold an event on June 19th at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.The event coincides with the conclusion of the eleventh season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality TV show and is likely to be the show's live finale.
The event will most likely be approved by the NSAC, the UFC has promoted several successful shows in Las Vegas under the supervision of the NSAC. This event will mark the eleventh UFC event to take place at the Palms Casino Resort; the last several events held at the Palms were "TUF" finale shows.
This season is shaping up to be interesting with recent rumors having coach Tito Ortiz exiting the show mid-season and being replaced by Rich Franklin. "TUF 11" will debut on March 31st following "UFC Fight Night 21: Florian Vs. Gomi".
