Antwain Britt Fighting 'Feijao' At Strikeforce In May

Antwain Britt Fighting 'Feijao' At Strikeforce In May Up-and-coming light heavyweight Antwain Britt has just announced that he will be facing the talented Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante at a yet-to-be announced Strikeforce event in May.

"I think it's a good matchup for me," Britt told MMAFighting.com Wednesday afternoon. "He's a big, strong guy. Of course, the fight camp he has over there, he trains with a lot of good guys, so I think he brings a lot to the table.

"You got a puncher's chance in this game. Him getting knocked out by Mike Kyle, it showed some of his weaknesses, but in the big scheme of things, anybody can get caught on any given day. So any time I train, I train for the most dangerous guy in the world, and I'm really training hard for this fight."

Although Britt comes with a decorated wrestling background, nine of his wins have ended in some form of spectacular knockout, so his overall MMA game is clearly evolving nicely.

However, Cavalcante is no slouch as he's notched a respectable 8-2 mark and has finished in all of his wins. "Feijao" was last seen taking a TKO win over the aforementioned Rosa at Strikeforce's Challenger Series show in November.

Showtime will most likely broadcast the event and Britt's scrap with Cavalcante is expected to be on the televised portion of the show.

Britt was not able to confirm when and where the card will be held.
