Jake Rosholt Fights Rudy Lindsey In March
By Mark Wayne | February 08, 2010
MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Jake Rosholt (6-2) begins his long road back to the Octagon on March 6 by taking on Rudy Lindsey (11-9) at an XFL show. Recently released from the UFC after posting two losses in three fights, Rosholt can expect to have his share of fights on the regional show circuit against smaller names.
Rosholt made his UFC debut at "UFC Fight Night: Lauzon Vs. Stephens" where he lost by submission to Dan Miller. He went on to perform and win impressively against Chris Leben seven months later at "UFC 102: Couture Vs. Nogueira". However, he sandwiched that win between two losses when he succumbed to a triangle choke delivered by Kendall Grove at UFC 106. In a move that surprised some, including Rosholt, the UFC let the fighter go after his UFC 106 match.
Being a young and talented fighter it is widely expected that if he can win several fights impressively in smaller shows that it won't be too long before we see Jake Rosholt back in the Octagon.
