Dylan Andrews Overcomes Shoulder Injury, Comes Back To Finish Papy Abedi

Dylan Andrews knew he had nothing to lose in the third round of his fight with Papy Abedi Wednesday night at UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann 2.

Likely down on all the scorecards, The Ultimate Fighter alum landed a pair of nasty uppercuts that floored Abedi and led to a win in the prelim main event.

Andrews, between the first and second rounds, told his corner his left arm was bothering him. After the bout, he was crying and emotional, and had it bandaged up.

“He Judo tossed me on my shoulder and I heard a crack,” Andrews said. “Sorry about my performance. The after the shoulder in the first….sorry guys.”

Andrews continually apologized to the crowd, which booed several times. The fans, though, responded to “The Villain” during his post-fight speech.
