Bubba McDaniel: TUF Can Give Anyone A Bad Attitude

Bubba McDaniel felt some fancy editing by the UFC made him come off as the villain on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17. For someone who had to cut weight several times, McDaniel says it goes with the show.

??You know, I made weight four times in five weeks,? said McDaniel to Bloody Elbow. ??It was just such a trying time for me and for everyone else. The bad attitude was just coming out. If you come and hang out with me at any other time, you’ll have fun.?

One of McDaniel??s most important weight cuts came during Thanksgiving and he was seen with a disheartened look as everyone else stuffed their faces. In the quarterfinals, McDaniel was eliminated within seconds by Uriah Hall.

McDaniel is 21-6 and defeated fellow cast mate Gilbert Smith in his official debut for the promotion. He takes on Brad Tavares in his return.

Tavares has three decision wins since last year. He??s 5-1 for the UFC.

They open the main card of UFC Fight Night 27 tomorrow, August 28. It comes from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN and airs on FOX Sports 1.
