Cage Warriors 58: James Brum Looks To Break His Decision Win Streak

James Brum has been picking up wins since signing with Cage Warriors, but they’ve all come via decision. He plans to change that when he takes on fellow bantamweight Ruslan Abiltarov.

“If you look at those records, I think three of them were 30-25 scorecards, so they’re dominant wins,” said Brum on MMA Junkie Radio. “I’m going out there to finish. I kind of know I have to finish this Russian – it’s what’s expected of me and that’s what I want to go and do.”

In 2012, Brum joined the promotion and has taken five wins. He made one appearance this year, defeating Olivier Pastor.

Abiltarov is 10-3 and debuts for Cage Warriors. He’s been busy going 6-2 the past eight months, with several of those fights from Gladiators Fighting Championship.

Cage Warriors 58 comes from the Olympisk Arena in Chechnya this Saturday, August 24. The main card streams live on MMA Junkie at 1 p.m. ET with prelims on Facebook at 11:45 a.m. ET.
