The UFC is working on pairing Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson for a November card from Brazil, according to a report on “UFC Tonight” Tuesday evening.
The bout would serve as the main event, and verbal agreements are already in place. No weight-class for the fight has been confirmed.
Belfort (23-10) has won two straight, finishing both Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping. He previously lost to Henderson in 2006 via decision.
Henderson (29-10) has dropped his last two, falling via split decision to both Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida.
The card is expected to take place November 9, though an exact location has yet to be announced.
