UFC light heavyweight stud, Phil Davis, just managed to eek out a decision win over Lyoto Machida in enemy territory. Now that Chael Sonnen just submitted Shogun Rua in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 26 headlining bout, Davis is ready and willing to take on Sonnen.
Enough is enough… I want to fight @sonnench for the whole country of Brazil! Name a time, name a date and bring your face!

Sonnen and Davis are known for their strong wrestling skills, and they don’t really have the stand-up techniques to end the fight, so this one could hit the floor fast. Davis has shown to be a complete animal once he gets his opponent down, using tricky submission positions and smothering top position which can spell nothing but danger for Sonnen, as 8 of his 3 losses have all come by chokes, armbars or triangles.
Fortunately for Sonnen, he’s seemed to have fine-tuned his submission game since those losses, after exiting the Octagon without a scratch on him and his second submission win in the UFC over Shogun Rua on FOX Sports 1.
