Maximum Fighting Championship (MFC) makes history in October as they’ve added a third title fight to the card. A middleweight championship bout between Sam Alvey and Jason South joins a bantamweight and heavyweight fight.
“To have these fighters compete for MFC belts all in one night is something we’re particularly proud of,” said MFC president Mark Pavelich. “The matchups are outstanding and without a doubt three deserving fighters will leave as champions.”
Alvey, who was on The Ultimate Fighter, is 1-1 for MFC. Both wins came this year and the first fight was for their middleweight belt.
South has stopped all 10 of his wins and nine via submission. Five of those wins haven’t escaped the opening round.
MFC 38: Behind Enemy Lines is October 4 from the Shaw Conference Centre in Canada. The six fight main card airs live on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET. MFC has been in business for 13 years.
