UFC president Dana White isn’t concerned with losing UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to Hollywood.
Rousey, who recently concluded filming for The Ultimate Fighter, is set to appear in a pair of upcoming films. She will have roles in both “The Expendables 3″ and “Fast & Furious 7.”
The former Olympian has stated she will be able to successfully navigate training, fighting, appearances and filming, but did cause an uproar when he made it known that she only had a couple of years left in the sport.
“There’s no way in hell,” White said, during his media scrum for UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen. “I don’t care what Hollywood offers; they (aren’t) paying what we’re paying. (Fighters) don’t make what we’re paying (in films).”
Rousey is set to defend her title against Miesha Tate this December at UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva 2 from Las Vegas.
