Give Tim Kennedy credit, as he lives by the motto any fight, any time.
Kennedy, who was willing to do battle with Vitor Belfort in Brazil, made a pitch on Twitter Thursday to take a bout with Lyoto Machida – if Nick Diaz turns it down.
UFC president Dana White previously stated they have offered Diaz the bout with Machida. No word yet on if the former Strikeforce welterweight champion will accept.
“Lyoto is moving down to middleweight in the UFC,?!?!?!” Kennedy asked on Twitter. “I currently have a spot open on my dance card and would love to boggie.”
Machida brought back up talks of a move to middleweight following his recent loss to Phil Davis. He has constantly weighed in under the 205-pound limit and has stated there would be no issues cutting the extra weight.
