More details are coming in about Jason “Mayhem” Miller’s latest arrest on felony domestic violence charges. The fighter has also responded to accusations in his own unique way.
The police reports says on August 3 Miller and a female he was living with got into an argument over a text message on the former UFC fighter’s phone. It escalated with Miller assaulting the female to where she had visible cuts and bruises. The female pressed charges a week later, but Miller wasn’t home when police went to make contact.
On early August 11, Miller was spotted at a loud party, shouting at neighbors. Based on the alleged assault of the female, Miller was arrested.
Miller issued the following statement on his website.
“To Who it Concerns:
I and I beg for forgiveness. If I have brought shame or pain upon [victim], her Father, her Mother, her Sister, her children and [associate]. Know this; JAH THE ALMIGHTY SHALL JUDGE AND NO-MAN.
I LOVE YOU.
I APOLOGIZE WITH ALL MY HEART, DURING THE MOST CHALLENGING TIME OF MY life, I ask only for YOU TO UNNASTAN. 33.
Samakatuwid magsisi at palayasin sa gayon na ang iyong mga kasalanan ay maaaring wiped-out
Mga Gawa 03:19
-J. Mayhem Lion”
The bottom statement translates to, “Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out.”
A court date is several weeks away and the charges carry up to four years behind bars. Miller’s past, including breaking into a church last August, may not help matters. He was released on $50,000 bond from his parents.
