Sheila Gaff Released By UFC After Two Straight Losses

Sheila Gaff has become the first female to be released by the UFC. The German dropped both of her fights inside the Octagon.

Gaff (10-6-1) was stopped by Sara McMann in her debut this past April, and was bested by Amanda Nunes earlier this month at UFC 163: Aldo vs. Korean Zombie.

“Disappointments and defeats belong to every fighter in this career, but I will go on,” Gaff told “Most of all, I am sorry that I could not show my fans what I can really do.”

Gaff had won three straight fights at flyweight prior to entering the UFC.
