Sheila Gaff has become the first female to be released by the UFC. The German dropped both of her fights inside the Octagon.
Gaff (10-6-1) was stopped by Sara McMann in her debut this past April, and was bested by Amanda Nunes earlier this month at UFC 163: Aldo vs. Korean Zombie.
“Disappointments and defeats belong to every fighter in this career, but I will go on,” Gaff told MMADiehards.com. “Most of all, I am sorry that I could not show my fans what I can really do.”
Gaff had won three straight fights at flyweight prior to entering the UFC.
