Michael Bisping claims he will beat Mark Munoz and took a shot at the middleweight’s recent bought of depression. Munoz didn’t seem amused and questioned Bisping’s striking ability.
“The fact of the matter is, he has pillows for fists,” said Bisping on the Rick J Lee channel. “He hasn’t knocked anybody out and he says he’s gonna knock me out? He hasn’t knocked anybody out. It’s going to be like a pillow fight when I fight him. He’s going to have pillows and I’m going to have hammers.”
Both fighters are looking to become the next contender for the middleweight belt.
Munoz had a four fight win streak going before future champion Chris Weidman defeated him. He returned a year later for the decision on Tim Boetsch.
This year, Bisping was finished by Vitor Belfort and defeated Alan Belcher at UFC 159 in April.
The middleweights have been placed on UFC Fight Night 30 on October 26. It’s from the Manchester Arena in England.
