Dave Huckaba made a statement at World Series of Fighting: Spong vs. DeAnda Saturday night, stopping kickboxing legend Ray Sefo via TKO.
Huckaba defended a high-kick by Sefo and landed his own strike, battering the World Series of Fighting president until the ref stepped in.
“This is a dream come true,” said an overjoyed Huckaba who celebrated throughout the post-fight interview. “Ray’s stand-up is phenomenal, so to bang with him is a blessing. I am just honored.”
Sefo started off the fight with some strong kicks to the leg of Huckaba, who said he wasn’t feeling any pain now but “in the next few days I will feel it. I’m on a rush right now.”
While not confirming his retirement, Sefo has mentioned he will likely hang it up and return to his chair in the executive world.
“I am gonna keep (Huckaba) busy,” he said. “He is the real deal.”
