Gegard Mousasi wants Vitor Belfort for his next fight inside the Octagon.
Mousasi, who debuted with the promotion earlier this year and earned a victory over Ilir Latifi, made it known he is willing to fight “The Phenom” anywhere – and at any weight.
“Everybody wants me to fight Vitor,” Mousasi posted on Twitter Thursday. “I fight him at any weight: 185, 195 or 205. I am ready fans.”
Belfort appeared set to face Tim Kennedy, but the former UFC champion declined the bout. It has been reported that he will only fight at middleweight for the title, but is willing to take fights at other weights.
Mousasi is currently rehabbing a knee injury that he kept unknown to the public prior to his win over Latifi. He was scheduled to face Alexander Gustafsson before the Swede was forced out with a cut.
