Nick Newell is expecting a finish at World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 4 when he takes on Keon Caldwell. Judging by their previous fights, it looks possible.
“He’s a finisher and finishes a lot in the first round like me, so I’m expecting a strong start and a lot of fireworks,” said Newell to MMA Weekly.
Newell signed a four fight contract with the WSOF after leaving XFC. He’s undefeated at 9-0 and finished eight of those in round one.
Caldwell has a similar record of 9-1 and coming off a pair of wins. He’s stopped all but one win in the opening round.
They’ll meet on the main card of WSOF 4, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network. It comes from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA this Saturday, August 10.
