Roger Gracie will call the United States home as he’s moving to Blackhouse MMA in California for full-time training. His manager Ed Soares confirmed the story.
“I think he just needs more time to prepare for fights,” said Soares to TATAME. “In his last few fights, he hasn’t been able to get a full training camp.”
When Strikeforce ceased operations, Gracie joined the UFC. His contract was not renewed when he took a loss to Tim Kennedy in his UFC debut.
Soares went on that Gracie is not rushing to return and will do so as middleweight or light heavyweight.
Blackhouse MMA host top fighters such as Lyoto Machida, Glover Teixeira and Anderson Silva.
