Brandon Hempleman Knows WSOF Brought Him In To Lose

Brandon Hempleman knows he’s considered the underdog as he debuts for the World Series of Fighting (WSOF). He takes on WSOF original bantamweight Marlon Moraes.

“I’ve fought all over the place because they don’t bring me in to be their golden goose,” said Hempleman on MMA Junkie Radio. “I’m brought in to lose, and I don’t like losing.”

Hempleman is 9-1 and has won his last six. This will be his first fight since appearing at Cage Warriors 50 in December of last year.

Moraes joined the promotion after posting two wins for XFC. For the WSOF, he took a split-decision over UFC veteran Miguel Torres and made quick work of Tyson Nam.

WSOF 4 is this Saturday, August 10, with a main card that airs live on the NBC Sports Network. It comes from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.
