Apparently Vitor Belfort has some interest in a rematch with Dan Henderson. While Henderson has yet to respond, his jiu-jitsu coach Ricardo Feliciano knows he’s down.
“A victory over him would build us up,” said Feliciano to Fighters Only. “Hendo is already 205 pounds, this is his normal weight. If this bout happens in November, it will be excellent if included in November’s card in Las Vegas. I will pump him up. Vitor will regret to have asked for this rematch.”
Their first encounter was at PRIDE 32, where Henderson earned a decision win. That was back in 2006 and post-fight Belfort came back with elevated testosterone levels.
Belfort has two middleweight wins this year. As for Henderson, the oldest UFC fighter has taken a pair of light heavyweight losses.
Both fighters aren’t linked to anything at the moment.
