It’s been months since we’ve seen UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz compete inside the Octagon.
First, Cruz suffered a knee injury on the cusp of facing Urijah Faber after the two coached on the first live season of The Ultimate Fighter.
He later re-injured the knee, causing him back to both the operating table and sidelines.
In the process, the UFC crowned an interim champion in Renan Barao, who himself has been sidelined with an injury.
While it was recently reported that Barao believes Cruz will be ready to return in February, “The Dominator” isn’t quite set on making that decision himself.
“(I’ve) made a goal,” he posted on Twitter, in response to Barao’s comments. “Can’t confirm anything till a doctor clears me.”
