Dave Huckaba has a rare upcoming opportunity. At the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 4, Huckaba gets to beat-up his boss as he takes on the promotion’s president Ray Sefo.
“I can’t look at Ray like a boss at all,” said Huckaba on MMA Junkie Radio. “This is my first fight with them, so to say Ray is my boss, I never took one minute to look at it like that. We all want to fight someone we’re not supposed to beat. In all reality, I’m a nobody fighting a legend like Ray Sefo. I beat Ray, I become someone.”
When Rolles Gracie fell to injury, Sefo decided to take the fight. His staff has been running the upcoming show on his behalf.
Sefo has only fought three times in MMA and is 2-1. His last fight was in February 2011, losing to Valentijn Overeem.
Huckaba is a known finisher with 20 wins. He’s the Gladiator Challenge heavyweight champion and rides three wins.
They’re on the main card of WSOF 4, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network. It’s August 10 from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.
