Nick Newell grabbed attention for being a congenital amputee, which basically means his left arm ends just after the elbow. His perfect record and XFC lightweight championship win helped him gain the attention of the World Series of Fighting (WSOF).
After Newell opted to leave XFC, he signed with the WSOF and competes against Keon Caldwellon on their next card. WSOF 4 is August 10 and airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
Of Newell’s nine career fights, he’s ended eight in the opening round.
