Next weekend, right before UFC 163, middleweight Michael Bisping will serve as the guest analyst. It’s part of a two year deal to work beside the Octagon.
“It’s actually a more challenging job than people think,” said Bisping to Bloody Elbow. “It’s live TV, you’ve got an earpiece in your ear with the studio talking to you, telling you what to do, while you’re talking on camera. The guys that do it, they’re very, very skilled. There’s definitely an art to it.”
Bisping had his title hopes crushed when he lost to Vitor Belfort to start the year. He returned with a decision over Alan Belcher. The Brit is recovering from eye surgery and is rumored to next meet Mark Munoz at UFC on FS1 4 in October.
That fight hasn’t been officially signed, but Bisping feels comfortable it will happen.
