Justin Salas Wants More Bloody Fights

Justin Salas’ bizarre request came true at UFC on FOX 8.The lightweight had yet to go in there and scrap. Aaron Riley changed that, giving Salas 30 stiches in the process.

“I’m feeling great, I wanted some stitches,” said Salas to MMA Fighting. “I wanted to get in a battle because that is how I do it. I wanted to show the world that I’m a fighter and I don’t laydown for nobody.”

The end saw a split-decision go to Salas.

Salas fought for the third time in 18 months, going 2-1 with the latest win. His other win came from Anton Kuivanen.

Riley has now dropped two straight. The last few years have seen him trade wins and losses, with nothing ever sticking.
