Marlon Moraes’ only concern is the task at hand, which is defeating Brandon Hempleman at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) 4.
“I’m going to tell you the truth – I’m not thinking about wins or streaks,” said Moraes on MMA Junkie Radio. “I’m just thinking about my next fight. I’m always thinking about my next fight. I don’t have to think about numbers or stuff like that. Records don’t matter to me.”
When it does come to records, Moraes is 10-4. He’s riding four wins with the last two coming out of the WSOF. For the WSOF, he’s taken a split-decision over Miguel Torres and finished Tyson Nam in round one.
Hempleman has one defeat in his four year career. He’s fought a little bit of everywhere in the IFL, Cage Warriors and KOTC.
The NBC Sports Network airs the main card of WSOF 4, which is August 10 from the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.
