Before 2013 comes to a close, Renzo Gracie is looking to return to active competition.
“I’ve been training with these guys, and they’re as tough as you can get,” said Gracie on MMA Junkie Radio. “I’ve been hanging around with them and having fun, so for sure I’ll be ready [by] the end of the year to have some fun too.”
Gracie has spoken about a lightweight return for the UFC, but his open to Asia’s growing ONE FC.
He took a third round stoppage loss to Matt Hughes at UFC 112 in 2010. It was his only appearance for the promotion. The 46-year-old hasn’t fought since that loss, which dropped his record to 13-7.
No word if the UFC or ONE FC is interested.
