Paulo Thiago-Kelvin Gastelum Bout Scrapped From UFC Fight Night 27

A planned welterweight encounter between Paulo Thiago and Kelvin Gastelum has been forced off the UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 card in August.

Thiago suffered a training injury according to a report by Combate. UFC officials are looking to replace him and keep Gastelum on the card.

The event takes place August 28 from Indianapolis, with welterweights Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann meeting in the main event.

Gastelum (6-0) recently became the latest winner of The Ultimate Fighter, upsetting Uriah Hall in the finals. Thiago (15-5) has split his 10 UFC bouts, going 5-5.
