Johny Hendricks has heard reports that Georges St-Pierre is labeled as a boring fighter. When they lockup later this fall, Hendricks is promising to bring the exciting St-Pierre out.
“I just want to punch him, punch him in the freaking face and see how it goes from there,” said Hendricks to MMA Exposed. “Hopefully I can make GSP exciting. That’s my game plan.”
St-Pierre has eight title defenses since winning the belt for a second time in 2008. He’s taken a pair of wins after an ACL injury.
Hendricks took three round one stoppages during his UFC stint to make him 15-1. He’s won his last six, including the most recent from Carlos Condit.
UFC 167 is headlined with the welterweight championship. It’s November 16 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
