Rafael Feijao’s UFC debut in June didn’t go fantastic. He suffered a late round one knockout loss to Thiago Silva, but earned extra cash for Fight of the Night. Now, the light heavyweight has begun training for his return inside the Octagon.
“Probably, I will fight in October,” said Feijao to TATAME. “But they have not set my opponent. I do not want to stay inactive for long. My wish is to fight soon. I’ve already started my training, already thinking about my next appointment.”
Feijao was a member of EliteXC and Strikeforce before joining the UFC. He’s 11-3 with a no contest for steroids that were in his system while under the Strikeforce banner.
The former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion has no return date since that UFC on FUEL TV 10 loss.
