Clay Harvison had his chance in the UFC and Bellator, but noticed one big issue.
“When I’m not fighting in the UFC or Bellator, I’m not fighting at 170; I’m fighting at 155,” said Harvison to MMA Weekly. “Guys at 170 are too large.”
Though Harvison didn’t win The Ultimate Fighter, he was offered a contract. Following a win he was stopped by Seth Baczynski and DaMarques Johnson. Earlier in the year, Harvison made his Bellator debut with a third round finish over Ururahy Rodrigues.
Harvison is looking to get another winning streak of five or more going, to get back in competition. There is no word on his next opponent or weight class.
