Paul Daley made his Cage Warriors debut in great fashion. He pushed the pace in the opening round against Lukasz Chlewicki before a doctor waived it off due to a cut. The end occurred in-between rounds one and two.
Since Daley was unable to compete in the United States, Bellator allowed him action outside the promotion. He’s taken three wins since February, stopping each within two rounds.
Chlewicki is 10-3 in what was also his Cage Warriors debut. It was his first loss since returning in 2010. Prior to that, Chlewicki was away from the sport for five years.
The bout served as the main event of Cage Warriors 57, which took place at the Echo Arena in England. The main card streamed at MMA Junkie with the prelims on Facebook.
