Matt Hobar’s Legacy FC debut didn’t go as planned. He took the loss, but rebounded with a pair of wins. If he can beat Angel Huerta for his bantamweight title, Hobar believes big things could be happening.
“I don’t feel any pressure,” said Hobar to MMA Weekly. “I feel a lot of motivation to get this title. If I win this title, it will definitely open up a lot opportunities to further my career in MMA.”
Before Hobar joined Legacy FC, he was undefeated with five wins. He’s taken decisions over Steven Peterson and Nelson Salas since December of last year.
Huerta is 4-1 for Legacy FC with three wins being stopped.
Legacy FC 21 is July 19 at the Arena Theater in Houston, TX. The main card airs live on AXS TV.
