Welterweight contenders Jake Ellenberger and Rory MacDonald will square off in a matter of days at UFC on FOX: Johnson vs. Moraga.
The bout is set as the co-main event, and could produce a contender in the coming months, according to UFC president Dana White.
Ellenberger and MacDonald have had plenty of Twitter battles since the bout was made official, and “The Juggernaut” continued to fuel the fire during a conference call on Tuesday.
“I haven’t said anything that wasn’t true,” Ellenberger said. “My message to Rory is pretty clear: fine some flavors of baby food you like and stock up, and prepare for some horizontal TV time and enjoy it.”
MacDonald, in a response later, said, “I don’t really care (about the trash talk). It doesn’t really bother me either way. I am going to go in there and fight my fight; if they suffer, they suffer.”
