Cub Swanson Takes Defeat Lightly

Cub Swanson has had an impressive run through the WEC and UFC. With just a few losses out of the two promotions, Swanson looks at those as winners from a dollar standpoint.

“Here is something that I actually brag about where a lot of people wouldn’t,” said Swanson to MMA Weekly. “Even my losses have all been Submission of the Night, Knockout of the Night, which I take pride in because I refuse to be in a boring fight. Either I’m going to win big or I’m going to lose big.”

He has two Knockout of Nights and four Fight of the Nights. The most recent came against Dennis Siver and it was his fifth win since January of last year.

Swanson has no return date, but feels he’s only one or two wins from a featherweight championship opportunity.
