Reigning UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will take on the number one contender Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 in November.
St. Pierre hasn’t come to fight in the United States since his unanimous decision win over Dan Hardy in March of 2010. But now that Jones-Gustafsson has been tapped for Toronto at UFC 165, the organization has decided to bring the long time 170lb star back to America to face what could be his stiffest challenge to date.
UFC 167: St. Pierre vs. Hendricks fight card has been tallied to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Both fighters are also keen on the idea of strenuous drug testing leading up to their showdown for the welterweight world championship.
The card hasn’t been finalized.
