Invicta FC, the all-female MMA promotion, will look to expand as they’ve shown interest in a reality show. While details will be provided in the future, Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp mentioned it won’t be like the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) or Bellator’s Fight Master.
“We’re also working on a reality show, which will be nothing similar to TUF or Fight Master: Bellator MMA,” said Knapp to Chris Leslie of MMA Frenzy. “It’ll be completely different, where it won’t be everyone living in the house. So we have a lot going on, and we grew so fast that it is sometimes hard to keep up with.”
The promotion returns with tonight’s Invicta FC 6. It’s headlined with a Strikeforce rematch between Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and Marloes Coenen. The winner will be their first featherweight champion and FightLine will have the results.
TUF has been on the air close to a decade while Fight Master started this summer.
