TJ Grant Laughs Off Conspiracy Theories Regarding UFC 164 Change

TJ Grant will no longer face UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson in August.

Instead, Anthony Pettis will finally get his title shot, taking on Henderson in his hometown of Milwaukee at UFC 164: Henderson vs. Pettis.

Immediately after Pettis was forced out of a planned bout with UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in early August, “Showtime” asked to face Henderson. The UFC shot down the request, but a concussion by Grant forced him out.

Some called it a “coincidence” that Pettis was tabbed to step in and fight, but Grant doesn’t want to hear anything of it.
