Bec Hyatt loves to hype fights, but that’s became a challenge as Invicta FC 6 draws near.
“This fight is really hard to hype up, because I’m fighting a young, 18-year-old Japanese girl that’s very respectful,” said Hyatt on MMA Junkie Radio. “My last fight there was a lot of beef. I attacked her on social media and she attacked me back. There was a lot of hype for that fight.”
The fight Hyatt is addressing was her first win out of Invicta FC and came from Jasminka Cive. At the weigh-ins, they nearly came to blows. Inside the Cage, Hyatt took a first round armbar submission. Her only loss in Invicta FC was a decision loss to strawweight champion Carla Esparza.
While there hasn’t been much hype about her meeting with Mizuki Inoue, Hyatt has gone to social media to try her best.
Inoue has been fighting since 2010 and completely for Jewels. She’s 5-1 with every win coming via submission.
They’re on the main card of Invicta FC 6, which is this Saturday, July 13. Headlining is Marloes Coenen vs. Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos for the inaugural featherweight title.
