Cage Warriors continues to expand with Dagestan as the latest country to host a future card. They will head there in November for Cage Warriors 61.
“I’m very excited to be bringing Cage Warriors to Dagestan later this year,” said Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan. “Dagestan has an excellent reputation in the sport of MMA. Its fighters are highly respected in the best promotions in the world and we’ll be mixing them with some of our best U.K. and European talent to put on what’s guaranteed to be a memorable event.”
No fights have been announced.
Cage Warriors 61 comes from the Ali Aliev Arena, which is close to the city capital of Makhachkala. The main card steams at MMA Junkie with prelims on Facebook.
The promotion returns on July 20 with Lukasz Chlewicki vs. Paul Daley. That’s Cage Warriors 57 and is out of England’s Echo Arena.
