Miesha Tate will appear in the upcoming issue of ESPN The Magazine: Body Issue later this year.
Tate, the former Strikeforce bantamweight champion, is set to face Ronda Rousey for the UFC title in December at UFC 168: Rousey vs. Tate 2. She previously dropped the Strikeforce belt to her rival.
“It was nerve-racking because even though it was a private beach, there’s still big houses al around and we had a couple of people trying to walk by the shoot,” Tate said. “They kept turning around and walking in the background and our crew kept having to hold up blinders so they wouldn’t see me.”
Also, the two will hit the TV screen in September as coaches on the 18th season of The Ultimate Fighter.
