Former world boxing champion Roy Jones, Jr., appears to be heavily on the mind of several UFC champions.
While UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva prepares for his title match at UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman Saturday night, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones took the opportunity to call out the boxer.
Silva has expressed interest in taking on Roy Jones in a boxing match, and UFC president Dana White confirmed he is talking with him.
“Bones Jones vs. Roy Jones,” Jon Jones posted on Twitter at the event, including a picture of the two squaring off.
Obviously “Bones” has plenty on his plate, including a potential super-fight with “The Spider.”
